School Opening Hours
EYFS, KS1 and KS2 - gates open at 8.35am
Class Doors Open - 8.45am
Registers/Gates Closed - 9.00am - any child arriving late must sign in at the office before going to class
Lunch EYFS & KS1 - 11.45am - 12.45pm
Lunch KS2 - 12.45pm - 1.45pm
Home time for all - 3.15pm
A total of 32.5 hours
Please walk to school where possible. The School car park is solely for school staff and authorised visitors. Parents, in case of an emergency, are permitted to drive on site.
Please do not park in front of the school gates - these must be kept free at all times for emergency vehicle access.
Please do not stop on the legally enforceable lines or stop outside the school gates to 'drop off' your child.

Wrap Around Care
At St Columb Minor Academy we work closely with First Steps, which are based next to the school site, to provide wrap around care for our pupils.
The Blues Club The Blues Club is for children aged 4-12 years. It operates a before school and after school club, along with holiday care through all school breaks.
The Breakfast Club runs from 7.45 am – 8.45 am and breakfast is included in the fees. Staff will accompany the children to school and see them safely into their classroom.
The Afterschool Club runs from 3.15pm – 6.15pm and the children are collected from their classrooms and brought across to the setting. The children have registration and are then given snacks and drinks. A range of activities are available throughout the session and these are taken from the children’s interests and ideas.
